Lake Central's Big Loss

Friday, October 21, 2011. Two weeks ago LC lost to Merriville for the first time in their season. The Indians played the Pirates for their first game of sectionals and lost. 30-24. Funny thing is, the officiate of the game was also a Merriville High School teacher. LC got 10 pennalties in the game while Merriville only received 3. Two weeks before the sectionals game, a player that was ineligible to play on Merriville's team also became eligible? HAHAHA.  When I woke up and read the paper this morning all I could do was laugh.Yeah..."It's real good to have friends in high places".This game was the biggest heartbreak for our boys at Lake Central, but this team has made a huge difference to our school as well. It seems like everyone has just been brought closer together. We had a great year and every single player did an unbelievable job this season. I'm proud to say I am an indian. #ROLLTRIBE4LIFE

Marley Man

Oh my gosh. Marley. He is like the icing on a cake. I mean, without Marley in my life I don't think I would be the same person. That Malti-poo is deffinitely a one-of-a-kind type dog. I can tell you one thing, if you had to live with that maniac I wish you the best of luck. He is either barking 24/7, whining for you to get his ball, or digging through garbage cans around the house. He begs for food, never lets me sleep, and just the deffinition of annoying.
I always used to ask for a dog as a pet and this is what I end up with. He loves my mom or any other person that steps foot in my house, but when it comes to me it's a whole different story. To be honest I secretly do love him. Don't ask me why or how, but there is just something about him that gets me everytime. Oh, and don't let his good looks fool you...

Dance Plus More Dance Equals My Life

To some people, dancing may seem like it's easy and that really gets to me because if you were living my life dancing is the farthest thing from easy. I practice every single day for three hours and let me tell you... at times I want to throw up and i could honestly pass out right on the floor. Even though it's tough, my team works our butts off! I love every girl on my dance team. Yes, we do bicker back and forth a lot, but at the end of the day, all of our hard work pays off and thats the most I can ask for from my girls.
